During development, we kept coming back to the same image: a bed stranded in a landscape of sand, surrounded by oversized curtains. It became a world suspended somewhere between the memory and realities of a disappearing relationship. The TV footage wasn't there to explain the relationship. It was there to hold everything that was left behind after it ended.
